Job Description
- Qualified purchasers have to be competent in their responsibility for negotiating with suppliers and sellers of the assorted products and services
- They also need to coordinate the logistics of having them delivered and paid
+ Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses
+ Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality
+ Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
+ Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in accordance to the regulation
+ Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
+ Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record-keeping
Job Requirement
- Any Degree with minimum of 3 years in Purchasing
- Good Communication Skills to build relationship with Vendors
- Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate market trends to find best prices
- Average English speaking would be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in above stated requirements
