Job Description
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality control departments to resolve any production issues.
- Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials required for production.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory, using inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
- Analyse production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and material handling activities.
- Lead, supervise, and train the PMC team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production and material handling areas.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material usage, and inventory transactions.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 05 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Management, or a similar role, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory management software (e.g., ERP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Chinese language.
