Job Description
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Manage the entire accounting process, ensuring financial statements and annual finalization are prepared with high accuracy and strictly adhere to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including the timely preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Manage the compilation and submission of annual audited financial statements, ensuring successful passage of statutory audits.
Tax & Treasury Management
- Take full responsibility for the declaration and payment of all taxes in Vietnam, including VAT, CIT, PIT, import duties, and export tax refunds.
- Oversee cash flow management and handle complex cross-border financial settlements.
Financial Control & Risk Management
- Implement detailed cost budgeting and management strategies to optimize business performance.
- Establish robust internal control systems and conduct ongoing risk management.
- Perform annual budget planning and comprehensive business performance analysis to support management decisions.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the local accounting team effectively.
- Maintain high professional ethics and strict financial confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Possession of a Chief Accountant Certificate recognized by the Vietnam Ministry of Finance is mandatory.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a Chief Accountant role.
- Proven experience in working with international financial systems is a significant advantage.
- Strong and practical knowledge of VAS, Vietnamese tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and Chinese (reading, writing, speaking) is strictly required.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and financial information software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Personality & Attitude
- Mature, reliable, and possesses a high sense of professional ethics and financial confidentiality.
- Candidates under 38 years of age are preferred.
