Job Description
Corporate M&A Legal Advisory
- Handle legal matters related to Corporate M&A.
- Support M&A legal work for clients in a professional law firm environment.
- Apply M&A Lawyer experience to advise and support corporate legal transactions.
- Construction company experience is an advantage.
Cross-border Legal Support
- Support legal services in a firm with Southeast Asia and India-focused expertise.
- Work within a law group with offices in Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
- Support matters connected to affiliate offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Malaysia when required.
- Contribute to comprehensive cross-border legal support through the firm’s regional network and India Desk.
Legal Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Report directly to the Head of Legal.
- Coordinate with internal legal leadership on assigned matters.
- Communicate with stakeholders in English fluently.
- Support interview and hiring-related coordination when required by the firm.
Confidential Candidate Handling
- Maintain professional and confidential communication during the recruitment and selection process.
- Ensure candidate information and job details are handled carefully according to hiring requirements.
- Support a recruitment process of approximately 1–2 interview rounds, depending on client arrangement.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- Experience as an M&A Lawyer is required.
- Experience working in or with construction companies is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong corporate M&A legal capability.
- Ability to work in a professional legal services environment.
- Ability to support cross-border legal matters and collaborate with regional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work directly with Head of Legal and relevant business/legal stakeholders.
Language / Other Requirements
- Fluent English communication is required.
- Chinese language ability is an advantage only.
- Preferred candidate age range: 8x or early 9x.
- The selected candidate will sign directly with TWL Law Group.
Personality & Attitude
- Professional, discreet, and suitable for legal advisory work.
- Able to work in an international and Asia-focused legal environment.
- Detail-oriented and responsible in handling corporate M&A matters.
- Able to communicate confidently with senior legal stakeholders.
