Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Identify market potential and develop strategies to grow Scholastic business in North and Central Vietnam.
2. Identify current and new business channels and developed partners to meet
business objectives and target.
3. To developed and grow business through innovative and effective approach.
4. Help develop new product offerings for the local market with possibility of local and international contents.
5. Collect and analyze information on the main competitors to support Scholastic business development/ product strategy and to identify the threats created by competition.
6. Develop and build local team and structure for future growth.
7. Develop e-commerce opportunities working with Scholastic SEA Ecommerce leader
8. Develop home learning opportunities
9. Develop social media working with SEA Marketing leader
10. Develop partnerships with key digital companies with high membership/ viewerships.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
1. Possess at least a minimum Degree in Business, marketing or its equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of Commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Publishing).
Skills and Competencies:
1. Good experience in dealing with customers, partners and government.
2. Computer literate with good knowledge in MS Office especially PowerPoints.
3. Proficient in both verbal and written Vietnamese and English.
4. Ability to present well and do product training.
5. Good negotiation and sales closing technique.
6. Good business development and people skills.
Travel Requirements:
1. Frequent state traveling as and when required.
