Job Description

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including layout optimization for high/low-temperature zones, loading bays, and storage areas.
  • Manage end-to-end inbound/outbound processes: goods inspection, temperature monitoring, scanning, sorting, and inventory reconciliation following FIFO principles.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits, manage spoiled or expiring goods, and prepare detailed loss reports.
  • Supervise logistics equipment (forklifts, pallets) and handling teams to maximize loading/unloading efficiency and minimize wait times.

Refrigeration & Energy Management

  • Supervise the refrigeration operation team in the periodic inspection of compressors, pipelines, evaporators, and electrical control systems.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives to control electricity costs while ensuring stable temperatures.
  • Monitor equipment health (pressure vessels, safety valves), report repair/procurement needs, and oversee third-party maintenance contractors.

Safety & Compliance (Core Responsibility)

  • Fire Safety: Manage fire prevention systems, control heat-source operations, conduct fire drills, and ensure clear, fire-safe storage zones.
  • Refrigeration Safety: Strictly regulate ammonia (NH3) leak prevention and ensure all refrigeration operators are fully certified.
  • Occupational Safety: Enforce forklift safety, ensure cold-environment PPE compliance, and prevent accidents (e.g., collapses, frostbite, mechanical injuries).
  • Security: Oversee 24/7 security patrols, surveillance systems, and gate control to prevent inventory theft.

Administration & Team Leadership

  • Manage multiple teams (Warehouse, Refrigeration, Loading, Security), including scheduling, attendance, and safety training.
  • Maintain 5S standards, ensuring clean, organized, and accessible storage pathways.
  • Handle business, equipment, and safety documentation for regulatory permit renewals.

Customer & Financial Management

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and resolve operational complaints (e.g., temperature/handling issues).
  • Coordinate with the General Director to develop value-added services (e.g., flash freezing, transportation) and report capacity utilization.
  • Monitor operating costs (utilities, labor, supplies) and reconcile daily documentation with the Finance team.

Emergency Response

  • Serve as the on-site commander during emergencies (power failure, leakages, fires, or large-scale cargo damage), activating emergency plans immediately.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related technical fields.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Extensive experience in cold chain warehouse management and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety, fire protection, and environmental compliance.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in managing high-volume, multi-temperature storage environments.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage teams of 35–40 employees.
  • Analytical mindset for cost control, energy optimization, and inventory accuracy.

Personality & Attitude

  • Highly disciplined, safety-conscious, and capable of decisive action during crises.
