Job Description

Product Research & Development

• Receive new product development requests, propose detailed plans, and execute product formulation strategies.
• Conduct in-depth research to master product characteristics, technical standards, and key advantages.
• Perform product testing, monitor data collection, and evaluate factors affecting product quality.
• Establish testing plans for the factory and create detailed roadmaps for specific product trials, providing timely technical support to relevant departments.

Production Technique Implementation

• Transfer technology from the development phase to mass production efficiently.
• Develop comprehensive production processes and clear technical guidelines for the production team.
• Establish standard technical parameters for each production stage.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

• Build and maintain technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and product standards.
• Draft production processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), updating them whenever changes in design or processes occur.
• Manage product quality declarations, including registering barcodes, trademarks, and product images in compliance with food safety regulations.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Analyze product defects and propose effective improvement solutions to enhance quality.
• Continuously update product costs and optimize recipes to improve quality while ensuring a competitive market price.
• Evaluate competitor products weekly and monthly to understand new consumption trends and identify areas for competitive advantages.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Assign tasks, define functional responsibilities, and build performance indicators for all team members.
• Manage and lead the R&D staff, ensuring team stability and professional development.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the Sales, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service departments to understand requirements and address technical feedback effectively.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or related fields.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the convenience food or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in a managerial position, specifically in leading a team of at least 5 members.
• Solid understanding of food processing, product formulation, and food safety regulations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and coordination skills to oversee the entire product lifecycle.
• Excellent presentation and clear communication skills, capable of speaking effectively before a group.
• Strong ability to analyze market trends and understand consumer needs within the FMCG sector.
