Job Description
- Building capacity at suppliers – creating awareness on ESG topics, especially on CO2 emissions. This includes:
- Managing sustainability programs.
- Performing analysis to identify gaps and challenges.
- Building partnerships and collaborating with suppliers.
- Delivering compliance & sustainability training to external partners/suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Working with suppliers on emissions inventory.
- Working with suppliers on decarbonization scenarios.
- Working with suppliers on social and governance initiatives.
- Conveying long-term carbon reduction plans with suppliers.
- Identifying further opportunities for carbon reduction.
- Conducting research and market analysis on global and local supplier sustainability trends.
- Developing, updating, and implementing supply chain policies, guidelines, plans and procedures.
- Planning and managing the implementation of supply chain initiatives and services in the sustainability and resilience areas.
- Leading supplier sustainability audits; collecting and sharing best practices.
- Collecting & validating data collection of emission inventory, decarbonization in the supply chain. Analyzing the data and working with internal & external consultants to evaluate and demonstrate the impact.
- Managing supply chain compliance and sustainability performance KPIs.
Job Requirement
- Education: University degree with a major in Supply Chain Management, Environmental Management or a relevant major.
- Professional knowledge: Knowledge of corporate Carbon Emissions Inventory and Product Carbon Footprint calculations, EU and US regulations, GHG inventory tools/standards/best practices. Understanding of SC principles. Proven experience in working with diverse stakeholders and coordinating works and analyses.
- Other competencies: Self-awareness, self-discipline, self-planning and self-organizing skills. Excellent logical and critical thinking abilities. Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience working with supply chain on ESG topics.
