Job Description

Pre-Sales Activities

  • Work with the sales team to propose/offer correct products or solutions to SIs/customers.
  • Support System Integrators (SI) and end-users to resolve application issues.
  • Support SIs and end-users on offering complete solutions with robots, vision systems, and 3rd party integration.
  • Support SIs/End Users for Proof of Concept (POC) and work closely with the sales team to progress leads through successful POC.
  • Manage and maintain solution centers and demo units (Operational, tidiness, safety & cleanliness).
  • Render technical support to sales promotion activities such as hybrid webinars/seminars/roadshows & exhibitions.
  • Guide sales engineers on responses to market demands, requirements, and competition activities.
  • Conduct product, application, and maintenance training for SIs and end-users.
  • Foster teamwork and collaborate with department members to achieve team goals.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support.

Post-Sales Activities (Service)

  • Provide technical support by identifying technical problems and determining corrective actions via remote or on-site service.
  • Handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering consulting, advanced services, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Work with Regional Headquarters (RHQ) & SEA countries to perform after-sales service for global customers.
  • Attend service calls on-site or online within the expected turnaround time.
  • Work with RHQ Service/Technical team to identify root causes of technical issues and support junior engineers.
  • Report early on any technical/contract/quality/program/cost issues to RHQ with recommendations for resolution.
  • Prepare proposals & quotations for spare parts and service support, ensuring timely billing.
  • Identify opportunities at end-users to promote sales of Parts & Services.
  • Identify potential authorized service partners to appoint and support customers.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control and Communications, Control and Automation, or related fields.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Junior engineers (1-2 years experience) or fresh graduates with relevant language proficiency and background in Robotics/Mechatronics are welcome.
  • Industrial Robot background is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic applications pertaining to factory automation, general motion controllers, servos, CNCs, PLCs, robotics, or similar industrial controls.

Skills & Competencies

  • Must be computer literate and proficient with PC and software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Chinese and English Language Proficiency required.
  • Chinese fluency is prioritized over English if both cannot be met perfectly.

Personality & Attitude

  • Team player.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
