Job Description

R&D Project Planning and Execution

• Plan and execute R&D projects including research, design, qualification, and improvement of HVAC products.
• Manage product innovation projects and receive handovers from relocation projects.
• Run Value Engineering (VE) projects to optimize costs and performance.

Prototyping, Testing, and Qualification

• Build prototypes, conduct testing and analysis, fine-tune designs, and generate qualification reports.
• Develop test protocols under International Standards to qualify products and establish specifications.
• Manage Lab room operations and testing activities.

Documentation and Compliance

• Build and maintain material specifications, product specifications, and compliance documents.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, Engineering Change Notices (ECN), PLM, and engineering documents.
• Ensure products meet HVAC International standards and compliance requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Support
• Work closely with internal and external groups including Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, Project Leaders, Production, and Quality.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partnership teams (Production, HR, Import/Export, Planning, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Technical Development).
• Support production and engineering needs through the set-up and operation of manufacturing processes.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or any related field.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum 10+ years of related experience and knowledge in HVAC equipment and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong experience with HVAC International standards, testing methods, and compliance.
• Experience working in both team environments and independently.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (Required), able to communicate clearly and directly with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and simulation software.
• General software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
• Able to understand and document a process or specification accurately.
