Job Description
- Establish procedures suitable for the farm’s livestock conditions.
- Train and instruct workers to follow established procedures effectively.
- Improve and update all documentation and record-keeping systems.
- Develop monthly feeding and breeding plans, ensuring proper nutrition and inventory of animal feed.
- Analyze available feed sources to create optimal feeding formulas.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of nutrition for ruminant animals, especially crossbred dairy cattle.
- Understanding of common diseases affecting dairy cows and preventive measures.
- Experience in herd management, breeding selection, and replacement planning.
Skills & Competencies
- Male, physically healthy, and capable of working in farm conditions.
- Strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan, assess, and handle farm issues independently.
- Effective leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
