Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and components used in thermo bottle production, ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.
- Negotiate purchasing contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers, especially those based in China.
- Monitor purchase orders and handle issues arising during ordering, shipping, and payment processes.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (R&D, Production, QA/QC, Warehouse) to ensure that incoming materials meet technical specifications and company standards.
- Maintain and update supplier information, product details, and price lists in the internal management system.
- Continuously seek new suppliers to improve cost efficiency and product quality.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and audits when required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirement
- College or university degree in relevant fields (Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, or Engineering).
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) - listening, speaking, reading, and writing - is required for direct communication with suppliers.
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a purchasing/procurement role, preferably in the thermo bottle or metal houseware industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and perform under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes (domestic and international) as needed.
