Job Description
Operational Leadership & Planning
- Direct and coordinate all manufacturing operations within the plant to achieve production objectives.
- Establish policies, systems, and annual goals in consultation with the General Manager to assure realistic objectives are achieved.
- Plan and expedite production program information to guarantee on-time customer delivery.
Resource Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Take all necessary steps to optimize the utilization of the facility, working closely with all other plant and corporate disciplines such as Sales, Finance, HR, and Materials Management.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to achieve machinery utilization and fulfill customer requirements effectively.
- Interface with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Finance, and Sales departments on subjects related to production, methods, materials, and design to resolve daily production issues.
Quality Control & Continuous Improvement
- Act to assure quality and provide immediate corrective and preventive actions when required.
- Supervise and assure absolute compliance with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system needs.
- Act as a leader in the Internal PPM Reduction Teams, assuring positive tendencies and long-term results.
- Promote and actively participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing techniques, and cost reduction projects within the department.
- Direct A.Q.P. representatives to assure timely compliance to program needs and actively support Standardization work.
Team Development & Reporting
- Provide continuous assistance and coaching to subordinates to aid in their development toward stated objectives and the Career Path Program.
- Ensure area supervision is coached effectively to maintain discipline and strict system compliance.
- Complete all assigned tasks and necessary reports accurately and on time, covering efficiency, productivity, safety, production quantities, and rejections.
- In coordination with the Human Resources Department, implement and provide robust training programs.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Management, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Over 5 years of professional experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role.
- Deep and updated knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques, TPM systems, and internal PPM reduction strategies.
- Prior experience working in an advanced manufacturing environment and coordinating with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain).
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional proficiency in English for daily professional communication and reporting.
- Strong capabilities in production planning, facility optimization, cost reduction, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and internal leadership.
Personality & Attitude
- Highly proactive, structured, and capable of providing quick responses to operational issues.
- Dedicated to fostering a positive corporate culture with a strong sense of teamwork, discipline, and exemplary leadership principles.
