Job Description
- Understand product line direction from the US PD team and execute requirements with factories.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain product documentation using Centric PLM and other tools.
- Manage product development processes within the PLM system.
- Maintain organized records of product and component documentation.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the product development team.
- Review product samples, provide feedback to the factory and US team.
- Monitor product/sample development at factories.
- Review top-of-production samples.
- Maintain records of specifications, development stages, and testing outcomes.
- Address delays and quality issues with vendors and develop mitigation plans.
- Partner with quality assurance to ensure product compliance and safety standards.
- Set schedules and deadlines for vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance using KPIs.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding expectations and schedules.
- Identify and address potential risks to on-time delivery.
- Develop contingency plans with supply chain and procurement teams.
- Escalate vendor performance issues to leadership.
- Help vendors streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide feedback and training to vendors on company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Strong organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical and creative thinking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Flexible availability for calls with overseas teams.
- Effective communication skills with overseas teams, even with language barriers.
- Proficient in using PLM and other relevant software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Illustrator).
- University degree, preferably in Textiles or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- Excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English language skills.
