Job Description
Global Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Source materials globally according to project and operational requirements.
- Ensure purchased equipment or items meet the specifications provided.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
Price and Contract Negotiation
- Negotiate for the most competitive price.
- Negotiate for the most competitive terms and conditions.
Procurement Operations and Delivery Monitoring
- Monitor the delivery of purchased equipment or items to ensure on-time arrival.
- Ensure all purchases comply with the Company’s procurement processes and guidelines.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in relevant Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
Experience & Knowledge
- Knowledge of local and overseas sources for materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of market pricing for materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of commercial documents used in purchasing such as L.C., B.G., etc.
- Knowledge of SAP for generating Purchase Orders.
Skills & Competencies
- Effective negotiation skills.
