Job Description
Language Support & Communication
- Interpret accurately between Japanese and Vietnamese during meetings, discussions, and communications with staff or external partners.
- Translate documents from Vietnamese to Japanese and vice versa upon request.
- Explain the content of documents to obtain necessary approvals and signatures from Japanese managers.
Administrative & Sales Support
- Assist Japanese managers with sales-related paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Support daily business operations and coordination among internal departments such as Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Business Base (CBB).
- Accompany Japanese managers on business trips as an interpreter and support liaison with clients or partners.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Make suggestions for improvement in communication and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and confidential translation records and support information flow across departments.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- University degree, major in Japanese Language or related field.
Experience
- Understanding of Japanese culture and business mindset.
- Prior experience studying or working in Japan is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese and Vietnamese; English proficiency for daily work communication.
Language Skills
- Japanese: Minimum JLPT N2 level (or equivalent).
- English: Basic communication and writing ability required.
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Good communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills.
- Open-minded, proactive, and capable of handling multi-tasking.
- Physically healthy and willing to travel when required.
