Painting Process & Equipment Setup

• Complete painting processes for new programs, including ABB robot programming, GRACO system parameter setup, and setup sheet parameter configuration.
• Optimize automatic color change-over system programs and painting process parameters.
• Establish painting TPM standards and support painting quotation information when required.

Fixture Design, Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Design and optimize painting fixtures, including fixture maintenance standards and improvement plans.
• Analyze and solve painting quality issues in coordination with relevant teams.
• Conduct continuous improvement activities related to safety, process, quality, and cost for mass production programs.

Training & Operational Support

• Support paint technician skill training.
• Support operation and maintenance improvement for painting line equipment.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree or certificate of completion of studies; Bachelor’s degree related to the area of responsibility is preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in the painting manufacturing field.

Skills & Competencies

• Able to program ABB robots independently.
• Proficient in operating GRACO 2K mixed paint systems.
• Able to paint products manually and independently.
• Familiar with 1K, 2K, solvent-based, and waterborne paint performance.
• Good knowledge of painting principles, painting line equipment operation and maintenance, and plastic parts painting methods.

Language / Other Requirements

• Must pass the Machine Reasoning Test with 80% correctness.
• Must achieve a Wonderlic score of 20 or above.
• Candidate will complete 2 tests: online and offline.
• Interview process includes 1 round at the factory with foreign managers.
