Job Description

New Product Research & Development

• Research product requirements from clients or the sales department.
• Design and develop new products according to specific technical requirements.
• Analyze product feasibility prior to manufacturing.
• Perform thorough testing and evaluate product prototypes.

Production Technical Implementation

• Transfer technology seamlessly from the development phase to mass production.
• Build comprehensive production processes and technical guidelines.
• Establish standard technical parameters for each production stage.
• Support the production department during the implementation of new products.

Technical Documentation Management

• Establish technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product standards.
• Draft production processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Update technical documentation promptly whenever there are changes in design or processes.

Product & Process Improvement

• Analyze product defects and propose effective improvement solutions.
• Optimize product designs to significantly reduce costs and enhance quality.
• Improve production processes to increase overall efficiency and minimize waste.

In-Factory Technical Support

• Support production departments efficiently when technical issues arise.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC department to ensure all products meet strict quality standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team regarding any machinery and equipment issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with the sales department to understand product requirements, production planning for rollouts, purchasing for material selection, and customer service for technical feedback.
• Prepare regular progress reports on new product development.
• Track product performance after mass production and propose strategic solutions to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.

Experience & Knowledge

• Proven experience working in Research & Development within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in drafting SOPs, BOMs, and technical drawings.

• Proficiency in design and technical software.
