Job Description

Customer Communication & Order Management

• Work directly with customers, mainly in Chinese and/or English, to receive, check, and confirm PO details, pricing, quantity, specifications, and delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate order information in the company’s order tracking system and issue order confirmations and related sales documents.
• Handle customer requests, sample requests, order changes, and complaints by coordinating with relevant departments.

Production Follow-up & Delivery Coordination

• Monitor production status and delivery progress for each order through daily follow-up with Planning, Production, QC, and Shipping teams.
• Identify risks such as material shortages, quality issues, schedule changes, or delivery delays and report to customers with proposed solutions.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, export-import documents, and shipment confirmation with the Import-Export team.

Team Management & Reporting

• Supervise, assign tasks, guide, and train Merchandiser staff.
• Review order files and follow-up logs prepared by team members.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly order status reports to the General Manager.
• Perform other professional tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

• College or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Economics, Chinese Language, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of Merchandiser experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a Supervisor or Team Leader role.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong order management, production follow-up, progress tracking, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, customer-service mindset, and ability to manage priorities under pressure.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ERP experience is an advantage.

Language / Other Requirements

• Proficient in Chinese communication and writing for daily work with customers and the Chinese General Manager.
• Business English is an advantage.
• Experience in eyewear, fashion accessories, export manufacturing, or FDI factories is a strong advantage.
