Job Description
Internal Legal Affairs & Compliance
- Take overall responsibility for the company's legal matters, legal documentation, and corporate compliance.
- Provide strategic legal advice and consultation directly to the Board of Directors and various internal departments.
- Review and control the legal validity of all documents, commercial contracts, and internal procedures.
- Ensure all contents comply with current legal regulations and minimize legal risks for the company.
- Manage and prevent legal risks arising from medical examination and treatment activities, human resources, advertising, and personal data protection.
- Update new legal regulations continuously and guide the implementation of new policies into operational procedures.
External Legal Affairs & Licensing
- Carry out and take full responsibility for managing legal procedures and licensing dossiers, including business registrations and investment certificates.
- Manage specific medical licenses including clinic operation licenses, technical scope approvals, radiation licenses, and pharmacy licenses (GPP).
- Handle complex dossiers for professional practice licenses, specifically for foreign medical staff and doctors.
- Prepare documentation and represent the company while working with state inspection, appraisal, and competent regulatory authorities.
- Handle complaints, resolve disputes involving customers or partners, and provide legal support in special or arising cases.
Team Management & Administrative Support
- Manage, supervise, and develop the members of the internal Legal team.
- Draft and issue company-wide decisions, official notices, and general legal-administrative documents.
- Handle procedures for foreign employees, including Work Permits, Visas, and Temporary Residence Cards (TRC).
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to government authorities as required by law.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of professional experience in an equivalent Legal Manager or Senior Legal Counsel role.
- Prior experience working within the healthcare, medical, or clinic sector is considered a strong advantage.
- Deep and practical knowledge of corporate, labor, and commercial laws, alongside related regulations in Vietnam.
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of English for daily professional and legal use.
- Proven skills in drafting and rigorously reviewing legal documents and developing internal compliance procedures.
- Strong capability in analyzing, assessing, and mitigating complex legal risks.
Personality & Attitude
- Possesses a strong management mindset with a highly proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Highly resilient and capable of working effectively under high pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
