Job Description

System Design & Implementation

  • Design, install, commission, and optimize automated equipment for electronic production lines.
  • Execute programming and debugging for PLC, HMI, Servo systems, and industrial robots.
  • Lead the implementation and acceptance testing of new automated equipment, coordinating effectively with technology vendors.

Operational Reliability & Maintenance

  • Analyze equipment failure root causes and implement proactive corrective measures to minimize production downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance data to continuously improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Prepare and update comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance documentation, and technical manuals.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Drive automation improvement projects to enhance production output, ensure product quality standards, and optimize labor costs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to resolve technical bottlenecks.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of electrical control principles, pneumatic systems, and sensor applications.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on proficiency in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of HMI, Servo systems, frequency converters, industrial robots, and Machine Vision systems.

Skills & Competencies

  • Capability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation in English.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Personality & Attitude

  • Highly responsible, proactive, and committed to teamwork.
  • Priority given to candidates with professional proficiency in English or Chinese.
