Job Description
- Managing all import and export processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Preparing and reviewing import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, contracts, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Coordinating with customs officials, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Handling customs procedures for imported and returned equipment, including processing contract applications and certificates of origin.
- Maintaining accurate records of transactions and ensuring compliance with trade terms.
- Utilizing customs declaration systems. (Specific systems mentioned are ECUS and VNACCS; while these could be considered brand names, they are specific to Vietnamese customs procedures, so they are kept for context and relevance.)
- Staying updated on relevant customs regulations, import-export policies, and trade terms.
Job Requirement
- Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Vietnamese.
- College degree or higher. Majors in International Trade, Logistics Management, or Customs Affairs are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in customs procedures at large corporations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Vietnam customs regulations, import-export policies, and clearance procedures.
- Familiarity with trade terms and their application in different business scenarios to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle processing contract applications, certificates of origin, and customs procedures for imported and returned equipment.
- Ability to prepare and review import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, contracts, etc.) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Proficiency in office software and customs declaration systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills (with Vietnamese customs, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments, particularly Finance).
- Strong service mindset, high sense of responsibility, and resilience under pressure.
