Job Description

Supplier Sourcing & Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across assigned product categories.
• Conduct supplier benchmarking based on pricing, MOQ, lead time, production capability, and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier and factory database within Vietnam and nearby sourcing regions.
• Source suppliers through online sourcing platforms, trade fairs, industrial clusters, and local market networks.

Factory Evaluation & Commercial Negotiation

• Conduct factory visits, audits, and manufacturing capability assessments.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements.
• Ensure direct factory sourcing while minimizing dependency on trading companies or intermediaries.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Product Development & Sampling

• Coordinate product development activities with suppliers and factories.
• Manage the complete sampling process from prototype development to final approval.
• Ensure products meet required specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Coordinate pre-production, inline, and final quality inspections.
• Ensure supplier compliance with required quality standards, certifications, and social compliance requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time shipment execution.
• Proactively resolve quality and production-related issues with suppliers.

Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization

• Identify new product trends, innovations, and sourcing opportunities within Vietnam and regional markets.
• Explore cost optimization and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Provide regular market intelligence, supplier updates, and pricing trends to management.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering preferred).

Experience & Knowledge

• 3–7 years of sourcing/procurement experience in Vietnam or Southeast Asian markets.
• Demonstrated experience in the Pet Furniture industry.
• Strong supplier and factory network within Vietnam and neighboring sourcing regions.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in supplier evaluation and factory auditing.
• Strong knowledge of materials including wood, metal, plastic, fabric, and foam.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Good understanding of export procedures, international trade documentation, and shipment coordination.

Personality & Attitude

• Hands-on professional with experience in factory visits and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
