Job Description
Main Objectives and Tasks
• Finding good suppliers in food category and managing suppliers
• Developing new items, kinds of ramen, instant noodle, confectionary, beverage etc.
• Following/checking purchasing orders, and their export procedures
• Market research on South East Asia
Detailed Job Description
• Finding good items or good suppliers and proposing them to buyers in Company
• Developing products to get them suitable for Korean market
• Negotiating with suppliers to have the best price
• Working for keeping best quality of products
• Trying to change a supplier or make an idea to get better price and better quality
• Following/checking purchasing orders, and their export procedures
• Doing market research frequently to check market changes
• Making ideas to improve processes
• Consistently communicating with Buyers in Company to get their ideas on new development
Job Requirement
• Education: Bachelor degree (International trade preferable)
• Experience
- Over 3 years relevant experience.
• Languages: Fluent English
• Knowledge
- Market situation throughout Southeast Asian countries
- Food manufacturing or food science for new items development
- Import/Export procedures (International trading)
• Skills
- Good communication skill, good negotiation skill, good documentation skill
• Attitude
- High- level loyalty and enthusiasm to achieve success
- Honesty with strong ethical values
- Responsibility for maintaining company assets, office and facilities
