Job Description
Product Development and Chemical Assessment
- Manage the product development process by working cross-functionally and directly with suppliers.
- Assist in the development of chemical products and conduct chemical assessments to evaluate the safety and commercial viability of new chemical formulations.
- Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues by collaborating with suppliers to develop chemical assessment processes and provide product chemical alternatives.
- Ensure all products comply with global safety requirements and regulations.
Sourcing Support and Supplier Coordination
- Assist in sourcing chemical materials and products in Asia and develop sourcing processes with suppliers to ensure continuous supply of materials and components.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and facilitate effective communication between teams to drive project success.
Project Management and Reporting
- Provide project management support in coordination with suppliers through weekly timeline management updates.
- Work with suppliers to accelerate development of critical items through problem-solving and proactive issue resolution.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Degree holder in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Studies, Food Science, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience in product development focusing on chemical assessment, material research, or strong experience in R&D adaptation into commercial needs.
- Knowledge of global safety standards and regulations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
