Job Description
Research and Development
- Study the properties, reaction behaviors, and performance of polyurethane materials used in manufacturing applications.
- Assist in developing and formulating PU mixtures that meet product specifications and production requirements.
- Participate in laboratory and pilot testing to validate new chemical compositions before mass production.
Process Optimization and Quality Control
- Monitor and analyze PU mixing processes to ensure correct ratios, temperature, and curing parameters.
- Evaluate production performance and propose adjustments to improve yield, efficiency, and quality.
- Ensure all PU processes meet company and customer standards for durability, flexibility, and adhesion.
Safety, Compliance, and Collaboration
- Implement and maintain chemical handling procedures in line with safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality departments to resolve issues related to PU materials.
- Document all test results, material adjustments, and process improvements for traceability and reporting.
- Support troubleshooting activities and technical problem-solving on the production floor.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience working in polyurethane or related chemical manufacturing environments.
- Experience with PU foaming, molding, or coating processes is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial chemical safety standards and manufacturing process controls.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret chemical data and process parameters effectively.
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work under production pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic laboratory equipment.
