Job Description
- Direct and control branch operations and administration to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Develop a self-driven team to deliver quality customer service and proactively encourage referrals of company products and services.
- Manage branch controls and compliance.
- Assist the Head of Channels and Digitalization in delivering superior branch performance.
- Support the Head of Branch Service to ensure smooth daily branch operations.
- Responsible for delivering branch services, operational controls, and sales referrals.
- Drive service excellence and sales referral KPIs among team members.
- Maintain high standards of operational controls and audit compliance in the branch.
- Ensure staff compliance with external and internal governance standards.
- Ensure the branch achieves service delivery and issue resolution timelines.
- Build team bench strength through training and upskilling.
- Manage branch resources to meet daily operational/servicing needs.
- Assume responsibilities of transaction checker and registered key/combination holder.
- Identify staff capabilities and skill gaps.
- Provide guidance to staff on job performance with regular reviews.
- Develop career development plans for branch staff. Oversee staff development, training, and grooming.
- Conduct staff appraisals and performance reviews.
- Perform staff counseling as needed.
- Project a professional image.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Branch Service.
Job Requirement
- Tertiary education (recognized degree or diploma).
- At least 5 years of experience in branch operations is preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities for building effective teams.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and driven.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Teamwork skills, along with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual fluency (written and spoken).
