Patient Care

• Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients attending the Raffles Medical Clinic.
• Develop a family orientated clinic practice with continuity of care and appropriate follow-up and referral.
• Assist with the implementation of preventative care strategies, including structuring and performing medical screening services.
• Manage the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the Raffles Medical standards.
• Assist with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the clinic.
• Perform rounds in the clinic emergency room and short-term inpatient beds including morning and evening handovers to other medical personnel, when required.
• Act as a medical escort when required for appropriate medical evacuations.
• Educate medical and non-medical staff in medical matters, where relevant.

Quality Assurance

• Work with the clinic’s Deputy Clinical Director to optimize quality assurance and ensure that appropriate medical outcomes are consistently attained with respect to the provision of clinic services.
• Ensure that patient medical files and documentation are maintained to the highest standards and in accordance with Raffles Medical standards for clinic services.
• Assist in the maintenance, selection and control of the medical equipment and supplies available in the clinic, when required.
• Work within and promote all Raffles Medical policies, procedures and corporate values.
• Be aware of Raffles Medical OH&S policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the on-going development and enhancement of these important areas of business.

Promotion of Raffles Medical Services

• Work with members of the Senior Management Team on initiatives to enhance the clinic profile and activity.
• Participate actively in appropriate social and professional activities to promote Raffles Medical services.
• Present important health topics to interested community groups.
• Assist the local Sales and Marketing Department in explaining Raffles Medical services to prospective and existing clients.

Required Work Experience

• Medical doctor with over 5 years post graduation experience gained within general practice and emergency medicine.
• Sound knowledge of the principles of general practice management and administration.
• Familiarity with ACLS, PALS, ATLS or similar protocols, essential.
• Post-graduation experience in Pediatrics, Women’s Health Issues, Obstetrics and Gynecology would be an advantage.
• Varied international medical and/or health care system experience.

Required Qualifications (Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job)

• Full registration and license to practice medicine in country of origin
• Qualified degrees to get Medical Practice Certificate from Health of Ministry/ Health of Department.

• English: oral and written

Travel / Rotation Requirements

• Occasional travel may be required.
