Job Description

Quality Assurance Leadership:

  • Take ultimate responsibility for garment quality within the zone, reporting to the Board of Directors (BOD).
  • Receive and understand product quality requirements from buyers, effectively communicating them to the QA team, factory management, and subcontractors.
  • Provide support and guidance to the QA team and factories, particularly with orders requiring strict quality standards.

System Management & Improvement:

  • Efficiently manage and allocate QA personnel within the zone to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system across factories and subcontractors, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare for and manage audits conducted by buyers or third-party organizations.

Production Quality Control:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards at each stage of production, from raw materials to finished garments.
  • Oversee size set/pilot run, random, pre-final, and final inspections, ensuring data is accurately recorded in the GTAS-QC system.
  • Review quality reports, analyze data, and work with factory management to implement corrective actions, ensuring all garments pass final inspection.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze quality reports, identify trends, and conduct risk assessments to address potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the QA team, factory management, and technical teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measures.
  • Communicate updates and corrective action plans (CAP) to buyers.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, ensuring their satisfaction with product quality and service.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, exceed expectations, and provide technical support when needed.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Plan and organize training for the QA team on new product styles, quality standards, inspection procedures, and customer service skills.
  • Set, monitor, and evaluate KPIs for the QA team to drive performance and implement corrective actions.

Job Requirement

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a management role within the garment industry, specifically with denim products.
  • Proven experience in managing quality management systems (QMS).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of garment manufacturing techniques (sewing, washing).
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Language: Fluent English communication skills

Technical: Proficient with office computer applications and management software.
