Job Description
- Environmental Oversight: Manage and monitor environmental compliance, especially regarding wastewater treatment, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary contact during environmental audits (internal and external), maintaining up-to-date documentation and facilitating the audit process.
- Wastewater Treatment Management: Supervise wastewater treatment operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible processes. Monitor and maintain water quality, discharge limits, and waste disposal procedures.
- HSE Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all HSE activities (especially environmental sustainability) are documented, reported, and compliant. Prepare and submit reports to management and relevant authorities.
- Training & Awareness: Conduct training on environmental safety, wastewater treatment, and sustainability. Promote best practices in wastewater management.
- Emergency Response: Prepare and manage the response plan for environmental incidents or emergencies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with HR and Admin to align environmental policies with company initiatives. Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure compliance and safety.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE, specializing in environmental management and wastewater treatment.
- Knowledge of environmental laws, wastewater treatment processes, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental compliance reporting tools.
- Certification in HSE management or wastewater treatment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
