Job Description
- Lead and continuously improve QHSE management systems, focusing on safety protocols and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the QA team member, setting objectives, assessing performance, and supporting professional growth.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and deliver QHSE training and awareness programs for all employees.
- Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Stay current on industry safety standards, trends, and legislation, integrating best practices into QHSE strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on safety performance and metrics, offering insights and recommendations to management.
- Liaise with external QHSE consultants, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies to ensure compliance and foster partnerships.
- Initiate and manage sustainability projects focused on waste management, recycling, and energy conservation.
- Ensure product quality and safety meet internal standards and customer expectations.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a QHSE role within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity focusing on safety.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ISO 45001) strongly preferred.
- Expertise in developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety audits.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and staff development.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in QHSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
