Job Description
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Taking ownership of product quality, receiving quality requirements from buyers, and effectively disseminating these requirements to QA teams and factory management.
- System Management and Improvement: Managing and evaluating the effectiveness of quality control systems across factories, proposing improvements, and preparing for audits by clients or third-party organizations.
- Production Quality Control: Supervising and arranging QA personnel to audit and monitor quality at every production stage, ensuring adherence to procedures, technical specifications, and samples.
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Analyzing quality reports, identifying trends, and working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate updates to buyers.
- Strategic Quality Management: Advising senior management on quality strategies based on product standards, complexity, and potential risks associated with specific buyers or product lines.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships by demonstrating a commitment to quality, proactively addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Team Leadership & Development: Training and developing QA team members on quality standards, inspection procedures, technical skills, and client communication.
- KPI Management: Setting, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs for the QA team, driving performance, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a management role within the garment industry
- Strong understanding and experience managing quality management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven team management and leadership abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (sewing, washing, etc.)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (communication)
- Proficient in office computer applications and management software
