Job Description

1. Primary contact and relationship manager for Contract Manufacturing Partner “CMP” for the entire relationship

  • Participate in contract setup, negotiation and maintenance (in collaboration with the Supply Chain team in US)
  • Establishing and/or maintaining the appropriate level of relationship
  • Managing and solving potential disagreements, contract breaches etc
  • Understand, estimate and simulate product cost structure as well as identify potential cost optimization from material, process and labor cost

2. Lead the cross-functional teams in both at CMP and Internally to drive overall performance of CMP to meet customer and market demand

  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Maintain high level of product quality and perfect on time delivery
  • Align technical development and specification as well as process parameters
  • Resolution of operational issues such as deviations, corrective and preventive actions, production delays etc
  • Alignment of production planning with delivery plan from US
  • Follow-up of change control timely implementation in line with regulatory and stock management constraints
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing

3. Run the CMP governance program

  • Deploy “CSWI Partnership Excellence Program” (CPEP)
  • Monitoring site performance according to standard KPIs & bringing CMP(s)’ performance / maintaining it to meet expectation
  • Identifying quality / technical / business / EHS risks and related mitigation and corrective actions

4. Lead alternative sourcing project

  • Lead and support all BU under CSWI to source, industrialize and qualify components, parts and products to meet expectation in term of Cost, Quality and Delivery
  • Identify potential cost saving or productivity for new source of supply
  • Lead and coordinate for any certification and compliance needed for new source
  • Simulate component/parts/product cost structure from new source as well as deliver target cost after mass production
  • Design and industrialize mass production process and capacity to meet with requirement

Job Requirement

  • Fluent in English and Chinese/Vietnamese is a plus. Must be able to communicate clearly and directly with the US team and our Asian based contract manufacturing partner
  • 8+ years of related experience and knowledge of production management, contract manufacturing management, quality management and supply chain
  • 3+ years of management and leadership experiences
  • Familiar with ISO9001, Six-Sigma, Lean, D/PFMEA and familiar with 8D report, 5 Why Analysis
  • Collaborative, proactive attitude, Strong problem-solving skills, Proven leadership ability
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly
  • Bsc in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related
  • Location is based in South of Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City/Dong nai) and approximately 10-25% travelling internationally mainly in China, South-east Asia, US
