Job Description

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement financial controls and internal audit processes to safeguard company assets.
Tax Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes. Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Treasury Management: Oversee cash management, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and optimizing financial resources.
Cost Management: Monitor and control expenses to improve profitability. Identify areas for cost reduction or optimization.
Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of the company's financial strategy and objectives. Provide financial insights to support business growth.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors as needed.
We encourage the Finance Head to work independently, as there won't be a dedicated team assigned for support for the phase one of the project.

Job Requirement

Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required. Candidates with a master's degree or professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA
would be preferred for the position.
Experience: 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles, with progressive responsibility. Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is often preferred.
Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations in Vietnam. Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) can be beneficial.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. The ability to interpret complex financial data is crucial.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications, such as Excel. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally etc.) is preferred.
Language: Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is typically required, as the role may involve communication with international stakeholders.
Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to Vietnam.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing business environments and financial conditions.
