Job Description

Guide, inspect and evaluate professional performance. Develop an overview program of grades and subjects.

  • Coordinate with the School Board Members: Make an overview of the program framework of each grade, the number of periods in each subject; Develop the curriculum of the subjects; Planning school year, assigning specialized divisions; Check the team plan, specialized group, making report for checking teaching schedule, professional records, homeroom book, and summer plan; Approve teaching material order ; Attend training sessions of the District department of Education and the DOET

Recruitment

  • Coordinate with the School board members: Recruitment plan; Interview candidates; Schedule time, learn from experience; Recruitment application; New teacher training, probationary assessment

Training

  • Coordinate with the School board members: Train teachers on educational methods, how to manage classes, how to build teaching plans, personal plans, specialized group plans, how to record types of books, how to use them electronic score; Formulate common lesson plans for the subjects; Send teachers to train and specialized activities according to the notice of the District department of Education.

External Relations (District department of Education, Department of Education and Training, Parents, Partners, etc.)

  • Coordinate with the School board members: Update notices and official letters of the District department of Education and Continuing Education; Welcoming the inspection teams of the District department of Education and the Department of Education and Training; Participate in District department of Education briefings, preliminary meetings, train thematic topics, attend conference on implementation and review at the request of the District department of Education; Make reports, develop plans according to the request of the District department of Education (average 2 reports / week)

Develop specific curricula by grade, by subject

  • Coordinate with the School board members: Ensuring enough content according to the regulations of the School Board, paying attention to the activities "Learning to experience creativity", Mathematics, Literature and Foreign Languages should have additional exercises for students at the end of the class. The duration is 30 minutes, dand the weekend is 45 minutes to ensure students have a firm grasp of knowledge and meet the exam requirements of the Department of Education and the Ministry of Education

Participate in seminars, experience classes, input evaluation

  • Coordinate with the School Board: Arranging personnel to participate in seminars, input evaluation; Build hours of learning experiences.

Develop processes related to the expertise assigned

Job Requirement

  • At least 5 years of Secondary/High School classroom teaching experience in a formal K-12 school.
  • At least 3 years of school leadership.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Skills in collaborative leadership of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to organize programs and activities required for productive learning in school.
  • Masters' degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
